COVID-19 POLICY: The Grey Eagle requires all patrons attending performances to provide proof of vaccination or negative test within 48 hours prior to the event. Currently Buncombe Co. mandates that masks be worn indoors. THIS MEANS YOU NEED TO MASK UP. Patrons will need to provide physical or digital documentation of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test. Professional negative test results must be dated no more than 48 hours prior to the event. At-home testing will not be accepted.

Joe Zimmerman brings insightful observations and a curiosity to the stage that achieves a level of joy rarely accomplished. Known for his inventive writing and playful persona, his jokes are first and foremost on himself, while also touching on pop culture, animals, nature, history and pop-science.
A regular at New York’s iconic Comedy Cellar, Joe grew up in Morgantown, WV, and began his comedy career in North Carolina after graduating from Davidson College. His television appearances include The Late Late Show with James Corden, John Oliver’s New York Comedy Central show, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Last Comic Standing, and his own Comedy Central Half Hour.
Joe’s first album Smiling at Wolves reached number one on the iTunes comedy charts and his second, Innocence came out with Comedy Central records and plays regularly on SiriusXM. His 2021 album Comedy To Fall Asleep To has been featured on both Pandora and SiriusXM.
KATE WILLETT
Kate Willett is a comedian, actress, and writer whose raunchy feminist storytelling is both smart and relatable. She’s the author of the Audible Original “Dirtbag Anthropology.” She just made her network debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and she has a 15 minute special on Netflix’s “Comedy Lineup.” She’s the cohost of the political comedy podcast Reply Guys.
She’s been a correspondent for the JIM JEFFERIES SHOW at Politicon and a featured comic on Viceland’s FLOPHOUSE. Her appearance on Comedy Central’s THIS IS NOT HAPPENING was on Splitsider’s list of “Best Late Night Standup Sets.” In the past, she toured with Margaret Cho nationally and internationally and has featured with comedians like Kyle Kinane, Maria Bamford, and Greg Behrendt.
She has appeared in the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Big Sky Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and High Plains. Podcast appearances include Doug Loves Movies, Bad Faith, Basic Witches, The Bullseye, Jordan Jesse Go! and Risk!
