Gianmarco Soresi is a comic, actor and writer. His stand up has been featured in Netflix’s Bonding, PBS’ Stories from the Stage, SeeSo’s New York’s Funniest (RIP), and George Takei Presents. In 2019, he won Last Comix Standing at Mohegan Sun, Devil’s Cup, Laughing Devil, Empire State, and season 8 of Comics Watching Comics on Amazon. He’s headlined clubs and colleges all along the east coast including Carolines, Stand Up NY, Comix Mohegan Sun, Yonkers, DC Comedy Loft, LOL, EastVille, The Future of Comedy Tour (Michigan), Haddon’s (Windsor) and performs nightly in New York City.
As an actor, he can be seen opposite Jennifer Lopez in the movie Hustlers, as well as the upcoming Apple series Little Voices and Billy Crystal/Tiffany Haddish movie Here Today. He’s also appeared on CBS’ Blue Bloods, ABC’s Deception, A&E’s Unforgettable, TruTV, Comedy Central and more. His stand up play, Less Than 50%, ran Off-Broadway last summer at 59E59 Theaters.
He is a member of the sketch team Uncle Function, which performs regularly at UCB and The PIT, and after a two year stint as the General Electric Spokesman he unwisely spent it all producing a sketch series he wrote called Matza Pizza (available on YouTube, wow!). He's represented on both coasts by Innovative Artists Agency.
