JD Scranton is a regular at Goodnight's Comedy Club in his hometown of Raleigh, NC but has performed all over the Southeast. His comedic musings wander through his life as a father and husband with long pauses to worry about getting old and managing his mental health. In 2021, he was crowned North Carolina's Funniest Comic at the Goodnight's Comedy competition.

Scranton has also worked a wide array of comics including Nick Mullen, Randy Feltface, Big Jay Oakerson, and Tom Mabe. He also hosts the award winning podcast Conspiracy Beer Me where comedians drink beer and wander through the weird world of conspiracies and the paranormal
